Ember Pro USA was founded in Southern California — one of the most wildfire-exposed regions in the country — by two environmental scientists, Jim Sprouse and Ryan Kresan. Both hold degrees in Environmental Studies, and Jim is a Certified Wildfire Defense Specialist. They started the company on a conviction the fire science keeps proving out: whether a home survives a wildfire isn’t luck. It comes down to engineering — the roof, the vents, the defensible space, and how the house handles the wind-driven embers that arrive long before the flames. So they built a company that does one thing, and does it properly: defend Southern California homes against wildfire.
